GEAR BOX GEARS AND SHAFTS MANUFACTURING PLANT INSTALLATION IN A RECORD TIME (SEVENTY FIVE DAYS). 2006 Private Limited Company PERFECT GEARS ,CHENNAI. M/S ASHOK LEYLAND has identified us at a crucial time (Aug 2006 ) when their requirement on GB281Gear box spares and assembly requirements were to be met in a short span for their customers.Since we are known for quality gears ,coupled with timely supplies M/S ASHOK LEYLAND has entrusted the manufacturing and supply of GB281 Gear Box items to us.M/S Ashok Leyland has handed over the related machineries and assets to us to carry out this task.In a span of 75 days,we have shifted all these machineries and assets, which were used by A.L for more than 30 years, to our newly developed Dedicated Plant,and have started supplies simultaneously.we have surpassed their requirements and have created spare capacity also.We have re engineered many of the A.L machineries and assets to improve the productivity and asset life.The cutters supplied for the Gears Machining, were specially coated by us to enhance the life of the cutters.By this we have minimized the consumption of cutters for A.L and also passed on the technology to A.L which is taking benefit out of this.
